The building was purchased in 1984 from Krueger family members. The all wood framing and quaint floor plan of the two story structure invites shoppers to remember simpler days.

W.W. Florist is situated in a unique section of North County called the "Wedge" where Parker Road and Old Halls Ferry Road intersect. As the volume of nearby neighborhoods and businesses increased, the need for this particular intersection to have an easy traffic flow was important to city developers. Instead of tearing down the store and relocating it, W.W. Florist stands out as the only building accessible to all three directions of traffic.
